Magic Dusk

This I wanted to paint something that reflected the style of James C. Christensen. I will admit that this is not anywhere near as skilled as his paintings are, but while studying sculpture at Brigham Young University, I started incorporating jewels into my artwork, then I discovered James C. Christensen because people told me my pieces looked like something he would do. Out of rebellion I suppose, I decided to explore his paths. I still get that comment on many of my pieces, but I think that I manage incorporate my own look and feel into my work.
